Project Location: Myakka City, Manatee County, Florida
Solar Farm Project Summary:
- Installation of 35,000 linear feet of 6’ High Chain Link Fence with 1’ of 3- Strand Barbwire around solar farm perimeter . The 2.5” diameter line posts were driven 3’ into the ground. Chain link fabric was supported by top and bottom tension wire. 3” terminals and corners were braced, trussed, and set in concrete.
- Installation of ( 9 ) 6’ + 1’ x 2 4 ’ Wide Chain Link Double - Drive Gates on 4” posts with concrete footers
- Scope included ( 10 ) 7’ H x 10’ W fiberglass isolation panels and numerous ditch crossings
- Fence work was substantially completed in 24 working days in February 2021
Substation Project Summary:
- Installation of 1,059’ x 7’ + 1’ 9 ga. Chain link fence. Fence included bottom tension wire, top rail, and 6 - strands of barbwire. The line posts were 3” Sch.80, and terminal posts 4” Sch. 80. All posts were coated with epoxy paint on the portion 1.5’ below and above grade. All posts were set in 12” x 48” concrete footers
- Installation of (5) 8’ H x 20’ W double swing gates.
- Work was completed in 6 working days in February 2021
